Fue Hair Transplantation Method

FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) method is used in hair transplantation since 2004 without any surgical intervention required. Individual follicular unit grafts are harvested one at s time using a special tiny punch of micro motors typically ranging from 0.7 to1 mm size. Each follicular unit grafts are placed into sides opened by doctors in balding areas of the scalp. In average range, 2500 to 3000 grafts can be transplanted at a time for one patient. No closure of the post extraction wound is necessary, as there is no post-operative risk of scaring and stitching. The success of FUE Hair Translation Operations depends on the right determination of the root density in the transplantation area.

Many of today’s hair transplantation experts prefer the FUE in order to provide time saving. With this technique, it turns possible to harvest more grafts in more frequent intervals compared to the same quantity of field scanning.

In terms of comfort regarding the patient, the FUE techniques being non-surgical method is rather preferred by estethica as well.

Local Anesthesia

To avoid the pain for the patient, the field of roots to be taken as well as the field of cultivation are anesthetized locally. The pain killer medicine, administrated through a special tiny needle into the skin surface, avoids the pain to occur. Numbness comes in 3 to 5 minutes after the application. During the operation the pain is imperceptible and painkillers use happens t to be often unnecessary after the operation.Taking Grafts

Taking Grafts/ Opening Canals/ Planting Grafts/Post-Washing Procedure

The procedure is applied once the tissue testing analysis is completed by our doctors. In order for each graft to be taken one by one from the back area of the scalp the FUE micro motors are used carefully to determine the number of follicles it cares. These follicles are counted and places into a special liquid. The procedure is continued with taking over a digital photo the number of follicles taken from the patient’s donor area and putting them into the patient’s medical archive. A standart application, specific only for estethica. This way the patient is provided with information about the entire procedure and quantity of hair transplanted.

Once the grafts are taken, tiny canals are open over the skin surface to make a place for the hair planting. The preparation for the hair to be planted carries a special procedure is estethica as one- rooted grafts are transplanted in the front, while two or more rooted grafts are put in the back of the scalp. The first post-transplantation washing is carried out in 48 hours and turns out to be one of the most important stages of the procedure. It can be executed rather inside the hospital or at home. For your international patients videos of hair washing procedure are provided.

Discharging The Patient

There is no need for the patients to stay in the hospital. Donor area is covered with a special liquid silicone. Bandage is unnecessary. A specially designed hat covers the donor area and the plating area until patient reaches home.

Second Or Third Sessions

For patients where hair baldness condition cannot be treated with a single session, second or even third interventions can be planned. If the case, the next application must be planned for after approximately 8 months, because this is the required time to get the entire hair transplantation process to be effective.

Discharging The Patient

Why FUE?

FUE method is the last and most commonly used technique used since 2004. When compared to the old method, it is reveals to be more comfortable as operation for both patient and doctor. Due to the fact that it is a technique, open to the technological developments, in every passing day, it has been utilizing the benefits of technology.

Due to used micromotor and edges technique, operation duration is extremely short, when compared to FUT. As no cut is required, the possibility of the patient to feel himself/herself comfortable during the operation is higher. FUE does not leave scars, differently from the FUT technique. In FUE, the baldness of 85% of the patients is covered with a single session. For only 15% of all patients’ groups a second session may show necessary.

In FUE, the operation duration is shorter (5 hours on average). There is no need for extra time for the grafts’ separation. In FUE technique, taken roots are cleaned from the remains; therefore it is possible to open smaller canals for the transplantation. By this means, there is no scar left in the transplantation field. The patient is discharged without any bandage on his/her head .

FUE method, preferred by physicians at earlier stages, is shown to be more trustworthy being more widespread among the doctors nowadays.
